The Magnolia Room is dedicated to the founders of the Rawls Hotel, Japheth and Margaret Rawls, who were responsible for planting magnolias in the downtown area.
The magnolia tree has long been a Southern favorite with its fragrant blossoms and strong stature from its deep tap roots.
An antique quilt covers the double bed and the television is tucked away neatly in the cabinet. The room has a full-sized bath with pedestal sink.
